Last Night at Late Night: Pleasures

A Vassar student finds pleasure in this sculpture by Nancy Graves.

Every Thursday night during Late Night at the Lehman Loeb we pose a question to our visitors. Read our favorite responses and let us know your answer in the comments section.

This Week’s Question: Our current exhibition is about pleasure. Which work of art gives you pleasure?

Man at Table by John Harvey. I like the bright large blocks of color and simple pattern. I also love the gesture. He looks like he is having a good time.” – Charlie, class of 2011

” Nothing gives me pleasure like clean laundry. I would have to say Curran’s Shadow Decoration.”

“The large Olitski piece, Second Night of Summer. It reminds me of summer thunderstorms.” – Annie, class of 2011
